‘Fergie Time’ lives forever

Those fearing big change at Old Trafford following Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement can now rest assured. Despite changes expected in United’s squad under new boss David Moyes’ regime, Ferguson’s presence continues to be felt. Sunday’s 1-0 victory over Arsenal highlighted that United will continue to compete at the top.

And even if Ferguson has retired and insisted he will live a more relaxed life, his passion during Sunday’s match suggests otherwise. As has been seen so many times throughout his career, Ferguson was counting down the minutes at the end of the game. And as has been seen even more often, he’s not afraid to celebrate. Some things refuse to change.
